From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by the wonderful Zia, who is not just a host, but a genuinely warm and passionate soul who makes you feel like you’ve come home. Her love for her animals and the land shines through everything she does.
The stars of the show? The gentle donkeys and the cheeky alpacas! We had the absolute pleasure of walking the donkeys through beautiful countryside trails — such calm, soulful creatures. And feeding the adorable alpacas was such a delight; they were full of character and had us smiling the whole time. It was hands-on, relaxed, and incredibly rewarding — perfect for animal lovers of all ages.
The experience didn’t end with the animals. We stayed in the lovely on-site accommodation, and it was honestly perfect. Every little touch had been thought of — from the comfortable beds and peaceful surroundings to the welcome basket with organic, freshly laid eggs, local milk, and a fresh loaf waiting for us in the kitchen. It felt like a proper countryside retreat, with all the warmth of staying with family (if your family were also expert animal whisperers!).
Zia went above and beyond to make sure our stay was memorable, and it truly was. We left feeling refreshed, inspired, and already dreaming about when we can come back.
