点评：PhD writing sessions can be tough, so I often head to a coffee shop for focus and a relaxed atmosphere. Tonight, I decided to try the Kemptville Starbucks—big mistake.
Despite having several staff behind the counter and being the only customer being served, it took over 15 minutes for my drink to be prepared. When it was finally ready, they just left it on the counter without even calling my name. Thankfully, I was keeping an eye out for it while trying to work.
But the worst part? 5 minutes after getting my drink, the music switched to loud, bass-heavy club tracks. Not exactly the vibe I was hoping for while writing my thesis—nor the typical atmosphere I’ve come to expect from other Starbucks locations. If I wanted a nightclub, I’d have gone to one!
Overall, this was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a Starbucks, and I won’t be returning to this location. Very disappointing.
