USED TO BE A GEM, BUT NOT ANYMORE!

点评：This place used to be a gem and I enjoyed taking my friends here, but the last few years it has really fallen apart. I write this as a full-time resident local who likes to support local businesses. Currently, I would not call this a "real" golf course. To be fair the greens are average on most holes, and above average on a few, and below average on another few; that is expectable. The fairways are decent; you can tell these are the only things they have money to take care of. Tee boxes are terrible; many sand traps have not been maintained and have grown over with grass; walkways/stairs to some of the tee boxes are in such disrepair they aren't usable and are downright dangerous; the far-bathroom out on the back of the course is nasty and one of the toilets doesn't even work; there are no water coolers on the course; no beverage cart; the grill at the clubhouse is non-functional (even on Father's Day weekend). We learned it is FOR SALE, which explains a lot, but it's easy to tell Mgmt really doesn't know how to run the place. $40 is cheap to play a round, but clearly they are more concerned with the price of a round than the condition of the course and experience for the golfer. If they'd charge $55-60 maybe they could keep it going. The course definitely is beautiful and a golf challenge, and it would be a true shame to see it close and developed for more houses.
