Stunning View, good food, but service?
La Bella Vita - The Sagamore Resort的点评
点评：Breathtaking views and nice Italian ambience. The evening lighting was so bright it might as well have been breakfast however. The room is really bright, kind of like it is set up for families versus a romantic evening in an Italian restaurant.
Thought service was ok but friendly. We had a hiccup in that our entrées showed up before our salad. Strange as they had brought plates for the salad, but then brought the entrées 10 minutes later. Obviously they forgot. They were definitely concerned and asked us if we wanted them to take away the entrées and remake them later after the salad. We said no just leave the entrées and bring us a salad now. Unfortunately it took a good 10 minutes to get the salads so we were well indoor entrées by the time it showed up. A person who look like the manager delivered the salad but didn’t apologize or make eye contact with us. I was very surprised they did not comp the salad. I didn’t ask them to but a good restaurant would have without any question and would have apologized.
The bruschetta appetizer was pretty good. It’s three different pieces of bread with three different types of toppings. Both entrées were excellent. The Tagliolini was delicious. My wife chose the half portion and it was more than enough as she took some home. The Halibut was perfectly cooked, juicy and tender with lots of flavor. No room for dessert.
