Def worth a pop-in and sampling if you're in the area

点评：What a gem in downtown Beacon! This is a comfortable, casual, cool, dog-friendly (free treats for your 4-legged friends on the bar and water bowls on the floor!) place right around the corner from Main Street which offers up a respectable selection of its own vodka, and bourbon/whiskey. We sampled a flight of bourbon for a very reasonably priced $5, the cost of which goes towards the tab if you end up buying a bottle (we did). I was shopping for a friend who's a bit of a connoisseur, so I chose a bottle of the single-cask Beacon bourbon, hands-down the darkest and smoothest of the 3 varieties I tried (also the highest cost and alcohol content) and great for sipping. I could see the apple-flavored bourbon being fantastic mixed into all kinds of seasonal cocktails. Staff was warm and knowledgeable, and even the customers inside sitting/sipping were nice - must be the booze and the dog-friendly environment, ha! Definitely worth a pop-in and sampling if you're in the area.
