Nautical Bowls的点评
点评：I live in Florida most of the year and these açai bowl places have been around Florida for years. Each and every one list the ingredients of each base and generally you can see the workers behind the counter hand blending the Açaí mix so that you know exactly what’s in it. When I found out about Nautical Bowls, I went to a few locations asking exactly what is in this mixture and I never got an answer. I prefer the taste of the other Açaí places over these bowls actually, however Nautical Bowls is closest to my home in Minnesota. This morning I stopped by there and much to my surprise, I see a Sysco truck and a gentleman carrying the white tubs of the mixture and putting it in the back. So that’s why I don’t get an answer as to what’s in the mix, the workers behind the counter don’t even know themselves, it’s a factory product that’s already premixed and I’m sure there are food stabilizers, food colorings and all sorts of things we really don’t know about. Sure they advertise it as organic or plant-based but without reading the labels or even anyone knowing exactly every ingredient that’s in the stuff, they’re fooling you. Perhaps to most people this really doesn’t make a difference but to someone like me who cares about exactly what goes in my body, this is a big fat NO. Today marks the last day I ever get an açai bowl from NauticalBowls.
