点评：You’ll have to drive winding roads into the country to get there, but that’s part of the unique experience. We were told the original country store dates to the 1880s and the new dining addition incorporates wood from that. The owners have succeeded in blending the old and new for an authentic, satisfying feel. Seating is limited to maybe two tables in the country store and three or four in the addition where there’s a deck and a view of the countryside. Our pleasant server Carly knew the menu and took good care of us. There are some unusual options and for about twice the price of our earlier Wendy’s meal we had “Fried Bologna with Pimento, Tomato Pie with side salad, sweet tea, and Hot fudge Ice Cream Cake” The country store offers Kentucky products and hard to find vintage products, tastefully branded t-shirts, mugs, etc. This is the kind of entrepreneurship serving the community that deserves support.
