Buffalo Trace Distillery的点评
点评：This was the first distillery on our list and it did not disappoint! We were waitlisted for a tour but didn't clear. Then we were able to get a tour as a walk-up. It was free and our tour guide David was the best! We learned so much about distilling and about the company history. It was really interesting! We enjoyed every minute. We arrived at 810am and waited in line to get in. Everyone in line was friendly and fun. It was chilly out but they opened a coffee bar which was perfect. I highly recommend the Pumpkin Bourbon Cream coffee. The bourbon tasting was great, though very small tastes, but it was free, so no complaints. The gift shop is massive and has some incredibly unique items. We spent a LOT but no regrets. Our bourbon of the day was EH Taylor, so we each got our one-bottle allocation but also bought several bottles of other bourbons. I was disappointed to find out that Blanton's was the bourbon of the day on the previous day (my favorite), but they are very clear on their website that this is how it works. I learned that many people make this their first stop of the day to take advantage of the bottle of the day, then head out to do other things. We will definitely come back and will do the same. I highly recommend this place ! If you are flying in, bring a couple of extra empty suitcases to carry home your treasures.
