点评：We have been dining at Foxfire for 5+ years and it has always been one of our favorite spots. Visited last Friday night, sat at the bar. The calamari appetizer was tough and tasted fishy - we didn't send it back because we have had great meals there - figured it was a fluke.
The bar serves burgers, but at 5:45 on a Friday we were told they were already out of burgers....okay. ??
Our entrees - chicken marsala and ribs were mediocre at best. I don't know if the owner/chef has changed, but we could have gotten the same meal at outback steakhouse or the like for a fraction of the price. Even the plating and presentation were basic. Nothing about the food felt upscale, it looked, tasted and felt like a chain restaurant meal.
We ordered a dessert to take home, didn't look too closely until we opened it - and here is a photo of the $14.00 piece of cake. It was crazy small and definitely not worth the price.
Sad because we have always loved this place.
