点评：We were heading back to Columbus, Ga after a few days at a senior adult retreat on St Simon's Island. We decided to take a different route back then the one taken to St Simon's and I am happy to report so glad that we did because it took us to the Rustic Bistro. We (there were 6 of us) were given a warm welcome and told it would be a wait of 10-15 minutes as the bistro was very busy. True to the receptionist word the wait was 10 minutes. The food was exceptional and the German chocolate cake was incredible. You need to purposely drive to Hawkinsville and eat at the Ristic Bistro (only lunch 11:00-2:00) everything is fresh and made at the Bistro including all the desserts. And, if you have the time, ask to speak with the owners and hear their story about how their being from San Francisco ended up in a small town in Georgia and opening a bistro came to pass. The story is as incredible as the food!
