A fishing Charter that far exceeded our expectations

点评：What an AMAZING experience! I tried thinking out of the box for a Valentines Day present for my wife. Best idea ever! I was talking to a good friend about the idea of a fishing charter and he immediately said I need to look at Robert Holmquist with LuckyBird Charters. I'm so glad I did! Booking was easy. Rates were great. We were on the boat on time and ready to go.
Within 5-10 minutes we were at his 1st honey-hole. 1st cast at break of dawn and a top of slot Redfish hit hard. We landed 8-10 Redfish in 30 minutes. We kept our bag limit and happily released the others.
His next spot was even better! We landed 35-40 fish over 2 hours of hot fishing action!
20+ Medium to over slot Redfish(all released) Several fun fighting 2.5-3 foot bonnet-head sharks, A few Stud trout, some bluefish, a few flounder. Our day was far better than we could have imagined and it wasn't halfway over. Next spot we hammered some SLAB Sheepshead!
Another short run to the next spot landed some Redfish and trout. Last spot on the way back to the dock was just a quick place to see what was biting and use up the bait. Hit some little pin fish and hit and missed on some Mangrove snapper. Robert expertly fileted our fish and sent us home with several gallon bags stuffed with grill ready fish. I'm not big on online reviews but for Robert I've made an exception. Do yourself a favor and book a trip with him. You will not regret it. Owen his mate was outstanding! Like a little Robert. He knew what to do and was a great addition to the trip. Plan on a day of rest the next day. Your arms and back will remind you of the fun you had! BEST FISHING TRIP EVER!
