Good News Restaurant and Bar的点评
点评：It was out first time dining in the area and I was aware of the restaurant, it's history and menu. I decided to take my daughter here for her birthday. We loved it!
The ambiance is very attractive and warm. Neutrals and comfortable booths and tables greet you upon entering. We were seated immediately, with sight access to the bar which was busy.
Our waitress happened to start that day so we laughed that we were all new to the restaurant. It also happened to be restaurant week, which was nice, as we were able to order what we probably would have ordered anyway from a price fixe menu.
I ordered the crab cake as an appetizer, my daughter the crispy brussel spouts.
Both were excellent. As my main course, I went traditional with the meat loaf.
Great comfort food! My daughter was a bit more adventurous with the chicken tikki masala. We shared each other's dishes. The food was hot upon serving, which I love, and made with fresh ingredients.
Dessert was a choice of two, one a chef's choice. We had the flourless chocolate cake with ice cream and key lime pie. Again fresh and great.
We will certainly return as their are a number of dishes I would like to try.
Everyone was friendly and accomodating; a perfect night out!
