点评:We learned from our first time (a month ago) that their white chicken is not a Hainanese chicken. But we said we’d give this place another try. When we returned, we resolved to try their barbecued offerings. We ordered the meat platter and decided on Soy chicken, BBQ pork, BBQ pork ribs, Roast Duck, and the crispy skin pork Belly. This came with sauce made from drippings. We also ordered the noodles with onion sauce. The contents on the platter were all very well made with the right proportion of flavor and taste. The meat weee all tender except for the ribs which had a more firm texture to them. (That sauce is amazing!). The noodles were a little disappointing. We knew that traditional Chinese onion sauce noodles would be oily but this lacked flavor and taste. There was hardly any fried green onions and the noodles were hardly seasoned with anything. I spooned some of the drippings from the barbecue platter to improve on it and this made the noodles more tasty. Some versions of these in other restaurants had some
Oyster sauce added to it for the umami. But these did not. And it was more than others we have tried. We will stick to the BBQ in this place.
