Highly recommend for both the experience and the wines

点评：First, the experience: you are at the actual vineyard, not a downtown tasting room. The tasting is outside in the shade of a beautiful old walnut tree. The vineyard is in a small scenic canyon that is just 1/2 mile off the main highway but feels really remote and peaceful. As other reviews have said, Sue is a gem and we loved chatting with her. You are chatting with the actual farmer. They are a small business that farms biodynamically which grows the soil instead of decimating it with pesticides etc.
Second, the wine: the Zinfandel is exceptional!! and that's why I came here. The Pinot Noir is excellent. I am normally not a fan of Chardonnay, Rosé, or Cabernet, but I liked all three of these Porter-Bass wines! The Rosé is not too sweet, and the Cabernet is light and not overpowering - they were all really unique, not the standard taste profiles.
