Chunda Valley, Skardu的点评
点评：The beautiful Chunda Valley is located 2,500 metres or 8,202 ft above sea level and it sits at the junction of the Indus and Shigar rivers.
It is easily accessed from Skardu but transport there in a 4x4 vehicle is advised owing to the condition and incline of some of the roads.
I visited in the Springtime and was rewarded with apple blossoms, clear blue skies and snow capped peaks. This area also has an abundance of cherry trees but their blossom is best viewed March/April.
From the Chunda Valley you are afforded the most amazing views. Trying to describe just how beautiful the scenery is in this area of Pakistan, is a task in itself. There just don’t seem to be enough adjectives.
There are plenty of camping opportunities in this region and places to find food and drink.
You can also get a good view of Shangrila Lake.
The photo opportunities are endless.
