Disappointing experience

点评：We stayed in the Bothy to attend an event locally. The accommodation is well located, clean and spacious, the beds are comfy and there is an abundance of hot water. BUT the shower fixtures were stiff and we had to give up on using the overhead shower. We were disappointed to find that although there were tea, coffee and sugar canisters in the kitchen, they were all empty and no milk had been provided. That felt stingy and unwelcoming. The stove-top coffee percolator was incompatible with the induction hob - a cafetiere would be a useful alternative. There was a limited amount of crockery available forcing us to run the dishwasher more than should have been necessary. The bedrooms felt inadequately furnished - no bedside table in one room, no hanging space in another. In summary, whilst the Bothy is in a great location it was let down by a lack of attention to detail that made it feel unwelcoming. We would struggle to recommend it to other guests.
