I booked an inside cabin for the first time, which made for a relaxing crossing

点评：I have been working at the University of Limerick for the last 4.5 years, commuting by Ryanair and - less frequently - by Stena Line - from the family home in Nottinghamshire. I use the Holyhead-Dublin route (although I have tried others), which is normally Stena Adventurer out and Stena Estrid back at the times I travel in the middle of the day.
As I am commuting by ferry 4-5 times a year, I have a loyalty card that lets me board first and use the Stena Plus Lounge. For this trip, I decided to cash in some of my loyalty points and book a cabin for the first time. It was a cabin for four with no window, plus an en-suite. It was clean and pleasant. It was a good chance to chill and watch old westerns on the TV, which helped the 3.5 hour trip fly by.
My only gripe is that although there is complimentary canned water in the cabin, there is no kettle or tea/coffee. I had to make a couple of trips to the Stena Plus Lounge to pick up some hot drinks and snacks.
