Quality Inn Ashland - Lake Superior的点评
点评：We stayed here for one night. Three adults in two queen (parents and child). It was easy to find and the location was great. Lovely sunsets. Motel backs right up to Lake Superior. The breakfast was really good and the dining area looked like a log cabin. The guy working the buffet was doing a great job.
We stayed in a second floor room. These rooms have two doors in the room, both leading to outside corridors.
There is no elevator. Not a problem for us but could be for others. This is a motel, so no inside corridors. It has an inside pool and hot tub that were getting a lot of use.
Ashland is known as the town of historic murals, and this town has at least three inside. Neat to see.
Cons of the hotel. Rooms were a little on the small side. They have a firepit right by the lake, but people have to go to town to get wood to use it. I thought this was pretty cheap of the hotel. Just put in a gas firepit like all the other hotels do. We did pay 152 (before) taxes on a Thursday night in June. Pretty pricey. But there are not a lot of motels/hotels in this area to choose from. I would stay here again, but would try to book ahead earlier to get a cheaper rate. I only booked a few days ahead for this rate.
