Our stay fell short
Inns of Aurora Resort & Spa的点评
点评：The hotel management failed to follow through with concerns that occurred during our stay. We gave the hotel an opportunity to rectify the issues and no one responded to our email.
The hotel reservatist changed our room without communicating it to us. Upon checking in we realized our room was downsized. (The gentleman that check us in was a gem and an asset to your organization.)
We connected with the front desk and initially our frustration was blown off. 60 minutes later they offered to move our room but at that point we were expected at our dinner reservation and were unable to relocate.
Dinner came with a high price tag with ok food. The food and service did not exceed our expectations. The server was nice but was not well educated on a common tree nut and peanut allergy. The wine menu was well thought through.
The bartender at the tavern was engaging and hospitable.
Upon returning to the hotel post dinner we were welcomed by vomit in the hotel elevator. Not what you would anticipate for $900-1000 a night for a hotel room.
Our spa experience was top notch and did indeed rival local competitors. From the moment you walk in to the moment you left the staff tried to provide a memorable experience.
Overall we would return for a day trip and would avoid the inn. For the price, hospitality was not on their forefront. What should have been a memorable 10 year anniversary, was nothing but a disappointment from the hotel side.
