Best of the Samarkand!

点评：My friend and I had an amazing 3-day tour in Samarkand with Olimjon. Our stay wouldn’t have been the same without him. He’s very knowledgeable and passionate about the rich history and culture of the city and the whole country. He’s incredibly kind, patient, polite, and humble, and he has great ethics. He was very accommodating to all our needs and requests.
He truly showed us all the hidden gems of Samarkand and took us to eat at places where only locals go. These spots didn’t have many Google reviews and were unknown to tourists like us. He also took incredible pictures of us, he really knew the best angles and spots for photos.
He was especially patient with us while we were shopping for silk goods in the local market, waiting without ever rushing us. He took us to local master shops and galleries, many of which he personally knew. Although we weren’t able to buy anything due to language barriers, it was still wonderful to talk to and get to know these amazing artists.
Olimjon became our friend over these three days, and he made our visit to Samarkand truly special. If I go back, I’ll definitely ask to join him again!
