点评:We booked our cookery demonstration through Wilson Travel and when we arrived at the office in Princess Street we met Stanley. He had booked us a tuktuk to take us to his home where we met Jasmine his wife. What a happy and friendly couple they are happy to share their knowledge of travel and cuisine in Kerala. Jasmine had pre prepared all the ingredients for our feast! and we collected curry leaves from her garden. then the cooking began, she was happy to share her wealth of cooking experience taught to her by her mother and grandmother. she is an accomplished cook, making all these dishes in 2 and a half hours. yellow pea dhal, snake gourd curry, green bean and shrimp, prawn fry in spice, fish moilee with sea bass, fish fry, beetroot and coconut side dish and chapti made with ghee. it was a fabulous experience and we got to eat with Jasmine on her patio and enjoy a great meal. Afterwards Stanley arranged a tuktuk to take us to KC Wholesale to collect our own spices to take home. if we had had more time we certainly would have stayed in their home stay too.
