点评:Misleading response to my previous review from Mehul @ Orient Tours. Mehul seems to think my husband and I are the same person, as he has left the exact same verbatim response to both of our negative reviews of our experience of Orient Tours. That's infuriating. As mentioned in my original review, the reason why we were not interested in a return taxi was that the pick up taxi never arrived, and nearly caused us to miss our slot at the Burj Khalifa. As such, we had zero confidence that a return taxi would show up either, so we made our own way back to our hotel. I am not sure why Mehul says that I refused the return taxi "for reasons known only to myself" (or words to that effect). My reason was clearly set out in my review. I can only surmise that he failed to read my review properly.
I am not sure why the customer service manager came to our hotel unsolicited the next day (and quite early in the morning), but I'd like to make clear that this was not a pre-arranged appointment that we failed to show for. In fact, we view it as being somewhat intrusive. We have been to the UAE a number of times and will return, but we shall never again use Orient Tours.
