点评:We stopped in Anamosa on our way home to Wisconsin. It was around 3:45 PM on a Saturday. One waitress on duty who told us it was too early for prime rib (even though it was advertised on a placard outside). I ordered the special which was lamb chops, and my partner ordered the garden salad with chicken tenders. We were one of 6 tables or booths being served. From the time we entered until the time our food arrived, it took 50 minutes. The chicken tenders were lukewarm and the salad appeared to be quite appetizing, but the greens were room temperature. My lamb chops were well presented, but they, too were lukewarm and served on a bed of wild rice pilaf that was cool. The asparagus was stringy and cold, and only the tips were edible. I could not even chew the stalks of the asparagus. When I complained to our waitress, Her response was that she would let the cook (no chef here) know. The lamb chop special (no soup or salad - just lamb chops and 6 spears of stringy asparagus) was $30.99. With the salad, the bill was $51. This seemed appropriate since we were on the road, and we were presented with Highway Robbery!! I would never recommend this restaurant.
