Historic surroundings refurbished to a high standard, great place to party
St Giles House的点评
点评：A fantastic period house ideal for a wedding and overnight stay. We stayed at The Ridings which has a great dinning and lounge with small snooker table, rooms were a delight and the breakfast amazing , the morning staff were so good and the breakfast outstanding, the dinning area is laid out in long tables very sociable and we were able to bring food in and use the kitchen.
The wedding event in the main House was great , large open fires, again staff were amazing, band and disco below in the cellars, bar was expensive , but a great venue.
We dined in the Library , food was not as good as the historic surroundings, Garlic mash was like a brick and unfortunately the chicken was dry and overcooked, nobody on our table finished the main, sweet was good with the vodka martini. Just a small tip please focus on a table by table service. That being said we had a great few days
