Lotus的点评
点评：This was our first visit to Lotus but, based on our experience this time, won't be our last.
Staff from the outset were friendly and helpful and this didn't waver. The restaurant is set over two levels from what we could see. We were at a long table with some other people at the other end but we didn't even notice them to be honest.
We ordered drinks while we were perusing the menu. The drinks weren't cheap but that's fairly standard nowadays. Likewise with the food.
Dishes are best shared and that's what we did. Five (from memory) smaller dishes to start and then two mains plus rice for four. All very tasty with varying levels of spice. The special of the day was octopus with coconut. Super tender with a nice kick. The four of us had different favourites but all agreed all dishes hit the spot as far as flavour.
Highly recommended. Forgot to say - the dishes are southeast Asian-inspired. Lovely.
