点评：I have dined at Numero Uno many, many times. The service has always been a bit abrupt & matter of fact, not friendly, but we have tolerated this as we enjoyed the food & it being BYO. I have had this comment from several people. This time however it was the food that was really disappointing. My partner ordered the grilled crayfish for $55. It was over cooked & dry -a waste of money in our opinion. I ordered the pork belly with apple sauce. I couldn't see or taste any apple sauce so approached the owner discretely at the counter, who said immediately that they had run out of sauce. They were well aware of this. I asked why they didn't tell me when it was served but I didn't get an answer & sadly no apology. The attitude was arrogant. Eventually they said I could order something else but it they were very busy & it would have taken too long & my friends were already half way through their meals. I asked them to remove the pork from our bill & I ate some of my partner's meal.
What upset me the most was the poor attitude & the fact that I wasn't informed about the lack of sauce when the dish was served. There was no excuse for this. I felt they were hoping I wouldn't notice. I love pork with apple sauce & would have ordered something else had I known.
My partner & I both left feeling really de valued as loyal customers & will not return.
