Wondaeri Birch Forest的点评
点评：Not the easiest to get to. We took an intercity bus from sokcho to inje before taking a taxi to wondaeri.
All locals got there by car or tour. We were the only foreigners then. Some didn’t know the at the last entrance was at 2pm and had to turn back. Got to rely on the staff at the entrance to help call for a taxi to return to Inje
Best part was the actual forest but before reaching the forest be prepared to hike up a few km of the hill. Along the way there are routes to get into the different parts of the hill but they are not accessible during winter season for safety reasons. I could see why because some look like cliffs and with icy grounds, you could potentially slide off the cliff.
On the way up a lot started to remove layers but once in the forest it was freezing. Freezing but just so beautiful. If only it wasn’t that cold, I would stay longer. So wear layers if you are going in winter.
