点评：My husband and I stayed in the hotel and had a dinner included in our stay. The menu offered a decent range of choices, all using seasonal, local produce and with a Scottish twist. I chose the venison carpaccio starter and my husband chose the Cullen Skink Bon bons, both were quite delicious - a balance of tastes and textures. Our mains were Chicken Supreme and Pancetta wrapped cod - again these were nicely balanced plates, good sized portions (without being too much) and beautifully presented. We managed desserts in the shape of an affogato and a hot toddy crème brûlée and again were not disappointed. Our server, Grant, also managed the bar, which sticks a decent selection of drinks and wine. We enjoyed this first meal so much that we dined in house on our second night too. My husband particularly loved the steak pie (which was a full crust pie) and I was delighted by my handmade beetroot and goats cheese tortelloni.
We believe this menu changes seasonally and we will be back to try it again later this year! I’d thoroughly recommend the Abbotsford restaurant.
