10 Spectacular days in Iceland

点评：This trip was actually June, 2022 but for some reason, all of my reviews have disappeared so I am trying to recreate!
Our travel specialist, Agata, planned a fantastic 10-day self-driving adventure across the south and west of Iceland for our family. She handled the details of booking all accommodations and activities and sent us a detailed itinerary with each day's drive to the next spot plotted out and timed so that we had lots of time to explore each of the major stops plus take some time to relax or visit additional suggestions. We saw so much of this spectacular country in a relatively short time! We did book our vehicle on our own, though the pricing Agata came up with was competitive and if my husband didn't have status with Hertz we would have let her book. We ended up being able to upgrade because of my husband so we had a much larger vehicle for our Icelandic road trip, which was perfect!
Highlights:
-All the waterfalls
-Snorkeling between the tectonic plates in Þingvellir National Park
-Lava museum
-Vatnajökull National Park- Glacier Lagoon and Diamond Beach
-Snæfellsnes Peninsula
-We ended up with 2.5 days in Reykjavík (half at the beginning, 1.5 at the end)- would have loved one more, but will spend more time there on the next trip!
The accommodations Agata booked for us were perfect, along with her lunch and suggestions for interesting stops along the way! We can't wait to return to Iceland and will definitely use Iceland Unlimited again!
