Thai Zab的点评
点评：Yesterday we were guests of Thai Zab restaurant in Athens. For dinner, we decided on two starters and two main dishes, along with a drink. Appetizers were ok, as was one main course, the second course was Pad Thai shrimp. When we started to eat Pad Thai, we noticed that everything was fried with some strange tomato sauce or ketchup, everything was one thick mass that was not edible. After our complaint, the waiter asked if we wanted something else, but we had no desire to try another option after this dish. After a short time, we asked for the bill, which also stated the dish that was not valid and that we left behind. The lady who brought the bill said that we had to pay because we ordered, even though the dish was not good. I requested contact with the owner, after some time I got him on the phone. I politely tried to explain to him that I had no intention of paying for a dish that was not worth it at all, but he didn't even try to let me explain and instead asked me where I was from and if I was from Israel. I have never experienced such behavior anywhere, and we travel quite often. The waiter, who spoke English very poorly and unreasonably, also constantly asked where I was from. When making a claim, they kept repeating that this was their first ever claim, only after looking at the reviews we were convinced that this was far from the truth. In our town, near our house, there is a Thai restaurant run by Mrs. Sara Lee from Thailand, where we often eat. Its flavors are clean and simple and do not resemble a thick toasted mass that is stuck to the plate. The owner of this restaurant does not respect the opinion of his guests at all, but chauvinistically insults the origin of the guest. No one goes to a restaurant to return food, but to have a good time and enjoy the food. In Thai Zab, this is not possible, but if you are a masochist, be sure that they will insult you if something does not suit you.
