点评:While more of a down-home than a fine dining establishment, I give it a high rating for providing outstanding crepes at good prices. The ambience is charming. The service is friendly and efficient and the bathroom clean and spacious. However, due to its small size and short hours in winter, it’s important to make a reservation. The place was completely full on a Tuesday afternoon. While the Bretonne galette (a buckwheat crepe), with mushrooms, caramelized onions and andouille sausage was top-of-the-line, the Rennaise galette was more original, with a special sausage from Brittany, cooked apples and a cream sauce. Both were great and the desert crepe, apart from being delicious, was spectacular: a rum flambé over bananas and toasted almonds (the flames didn’t come out in the photo, alas). The galettes/crepes were generous in size and well-made with crispy edges. The bottle of house hard cider was excellent and local. All our food, except the bananas and almonds, was local. A must-do when travelling in Brittany.
