Holiday Inn Express Madrid - Airport By IHG的点评
点评：Hotel is great for an overnight stay before an early flight or after a late one. Otherwise don’t stay there. It’s basic.
They advertise an airport shuttle for 5 euros but you have to reserve it. I got there at 8:00 pm and there was no room left on the 9:00 am shuttle. I took a cab, used an app to order, it was fine and probably much better experience than the shuttle but was 13 euros. You have to walk to the street to get your cab. But it’s safe and less than a block away.
The room was small but very comfortable. Perfect for one person, would be ok for two. Plenty of hot water. They don’t have electricity adapters so you need to have a USB cord (there are several ports) or bring a plug adapter for US devices.
I ordered probably the worst thing on the menu for dinner, vegetarian pizza. The pizza had carrots and peas on it. It was disgusting. Everyone else’s food looked great. Order a regular Spanish meal and you’ll be fine.
The free breakfast is meh. Nothing looked great. I had a croissant and OJ.
There is no market, only vending machines which have snacks and drinks. I’m sure they’d give you a toothbrush.
I paid 140 euros which is probably too much. If you can get it cheaper go for it.
