Elite Transfers Dublin的点评
点评：Had a last min business trip to Dublin, Ireland. Elite Transfers had some good reviews on TripAdvisor. So we tried to set up an airport pickup online (had to do that because it was late & their office was closed). The website sent an automated reply that they would reply later (no problem thus far). But then they sent a very nice politely worded message saying no cars were available. Didn’t offer any suggestions about alternatives etc.
Fortunately, despite this initial mini-setback, our trip ended well because all we had to do was walk to the taxi stand just outside Terminal 2.and stand in a queue for about 5 minutes. (Note - this could be difficult if you have luggage, small kids etc; but they have free trolleys in the baggage claim area). The drive to the hotel in a south Dublin suburb took 35 minutes on the motorway starting from the airport at 9:30 AM. Time & distance charge (metered) was €60.
On the way to the taxi stand, we saw some well-dressed men standing just outside the baggage claim area holding tablets or placards with people’s names on them - we presumed they were meeting pre-arranged pickups. IMO - this service is very helpful in larger airports and in places where language may be an issue. Can’t comment specifically about Elite Transfer services but thought this experience might be helpful for other travelers.
