点评：We came upon the Athro Lounge quite by chance while exploring Aberystwyth on the first full day of our Welsh holiday. We called in, without booking, for a late lunch/snack.
An amazing, high ceilinged interior, retaining many of the original school features, and including a special area for children to enjoy the games provided. A really family, and dog, friendly restaurant.
My husband opted for the lounge breakfast, which he thoroughly enjoyed, and I had a choice of 3 pure fruit Smoothies, all sounding equally thirst quenching. (I don't tend to have anything to eat at lunchtime, preferring a larger breakfast early morning). The waiter explained exactly which fruits formed the ingredients of each , so I could make an informed decision (I have numerous intolerances and dislikes). The pink smoothie was delicious, just what I needed to recharge my batteries!
The Athro Lounge seemed a popular Saturday meeting place, with plenty of seating, and friendly, helpful staff providing an efficient service.
Unfortunately, we didn't have the opportunity to return during our week's holiday.
I wouldn't hesitate in recommending the Athro Lounge. A real gem!
