Nice interesting visit
West Stow Anglo-Saxon Village and Country Park的点评
点评：We really enjoyed our visit. You could make this a quick visit or really take your time and still have a great experience either way. The site was under some renovation as a couple of places were closed off. It was still worth the visit and the buildings were interesting to see. The museum is interesting and interactive which is great for kids. The shop is also good. There is a cafe next door which has a great offering and also the shop sell a local walk trail activity which is a good half hour fun trail to extend the visit a bit.
The parking was very difficult to sort out given that it either takes money or relies on internet for card payments. The internet signal in the area is really poor. I ended up having to log on to local 02 Wi-Fi in order to pay with the Ring-go which just took some time, not the fault of the visit but would advise to take change as this would save time.
Worth noting they don’t always have people acting in role, we knew this but if you weren’t aware you might be disappointed if expecting to have people in acting roles at areas around the site.
