点评：The first thing to say is that the food here is good. However the service really let it down and made our whole experience very disappointing. We arrived on time at 6:15pm, ordered some drinks promptly but it took a while for our food order to be taken. Then we waited. At around 6:50pm I asked what had happened to the food, they apologised but it was 7:10pm before our two starters arrived.
We assumed there had been a mistake in the kitchen and that the main courses would come much more quickly. However we finished our starters by 7:20pm and nothing arrived until one main dish at 7:40pm, followed by two sides 5 minutes later and the other two main dishes 5 minutes after that - so more than 90 minutes after we sat down. By the time we had finished eating it was 8:15pm and we just wanted to leave.
This delay spoilt the meal, especially as we had our young granddaughter and this was supposed to be a treat for her. Instead she was asking why we had no food.
Quite a few people came after us but were served before us and there was a constant stream of takeaways being collected. I assume these were all for pick up at a particular time and that they therefore take precedence over restaurant meals in order that they are not late.
Prices are OK - not cheap but fair provided both the service and food are good and combine to make it an enjoyable dining experience. That was not the case and we would hesitate to return despite the good food.
