点评：We wanted to treat newly retired friends to a memorable meal and it truly was!
We arrived early, as recommended, to review menus in the bar where the seating was comfortable and Nick, the manager, recommended drinks based on each individual’s broad request and that were enjoyed by all.
We then moved through to the lovely dining area where the food was presented beautifully, all seven courses were very good with 2 being absolutely sublime.
Nick was very helpful throughout our stay and our server Jayan was excellent - very attentive and providing detailed descriptions of each course when he brought them. I really liked the fact that when you book dinner with Thompsons that the table is yours for the night so there is no time pressure and this works particularly well with the tasting menus in the company of good friends.
