点评:I used to come here weekly when i lived in the area over 10 years ago. (Sadly our closest toby is nr 2 hour drive - so dont visit often)
We were seated quickly and had our drinks order taken then left for 10-15 minutes. Which was fine as we werent in a rush and talking. Eventually a you g man approached and asked if we wanted carvery or menu and directed us to the carvery.
Seemed to be a lack of choice in veg. Carrots, peas & cabbage. The focus seemed to be carbs. Maybe thats what people want on a carvery these days? There was cauliflower cheese & onions in gravy also. These were delicious but ‘healthy’ straight up veg choice was lacking
The veg they served was lovely and fresh and hot though. Meat fell apart and was beautifully cooked. I had pork & turkey
Overall a great experience, the staff seem to be school leavers age which is fantastic as it is so difficult for young people to find employment out of school.
On leaving there was a queue of 15+ people waiting at the desk to be seated with no staff to be seen. But didn’t directly affect us.
