Sam's Grill Whitby的点评
点评：I dropped in for a meal at Sam's Grill in Whitby with a couple of foodie friends. We had three types of poutine and a couple of burgers.
The Chill Pill burger had two beef patties, cheese, onion rings, and was topped with Chili!
The Barnyard burger also had cheese and was topped with pulled pork and BBQ sauce.
We also tried three of their poutines - The Sauteed (mushrooms, green peppers, onions), The Newfie (Newfie style dressing and spices), and The Butter Chicken (cubes of chicken with butter chicken sauce). All had gravy and cheese curds. These were generous servings, and the Butter Chicken was the unanimous favourite!
We also got to try some of their new menu items, all deep fried - jalapeno poppers, mozarella sticks, potato taters, and mac & cheese bites. I can see some of these items appealing to kids more than adults. although I liked them.
The food and service were all good but maybe not outstanding. The restaurant was bright and clean. and prices were quite reasonable.cRating: 3.5/5.0
