点评：Diane welcomed us and showed us upstairs to the apartment which is absolutely lovely with a very homely feel. She was kind enough to assist with the cases as my husband has mobility issues. We immediately felt at ease and Diane is happy to answer any questions.
Everything you could need is provided and more, we had had a gruelling journey and as cup-a-soups were available and we had our own snacks we were able to relax the first evening on the balcony and in the comfy living area. The views of the garden and to the church and churchyard are delightful, as is watching the chickens, who provide the eggs for breakfast.
We slept well in the very comfortable king-sized bed. The en-suite is small but adequate and plenty of toiletries are provided. The shower is good and the towels were lovely large and fluffy.
Diane brings breakfast up to you, which was another bonus. You have a great choice from a menu each morning. Plenty of fruit juice, tea/coffee, cereal or yogurt, freshly cooked delicious full English breakfast.
We thoroughly relaxed here, enjoying walking around the village and eating at both local pubs. Montecute House and its grounds are a must see.
We most definitely hope to return here.
