点评：We have been here quite a few times before with no problems but today was the last time. We arrived at 11.55, five minutes before our booking for Sunday lunch. At least six to eight already waiting at the bar but only one serving but we did see another staff member rushing around. After 10 minutes, I told my husband I needed to sit as I have chronic arthritis, particularly in my back. Five minutes later, my husband said we had a reservation and he was told we were in the adjoining room on a bench. I looked to see if I could use it and said no, it was too hard for my arthritis and we should cancel as it was fully booked. One of the bar staff actually had the nerve to say loudly, excuse me, why do you need a soft seat? I was taken aback but explained my medical condition, evidenced by needing my walking stick. We were then hurriedly given a different table with soft seats but told we had to be out of them by 1pm for the next diners booked. We received our meals at 12.30pm and ate rapidly leaving 20 minutes later.
We will never go there again...This is a pub, not a doctor's waiting room, my medical condition is not a relevant topic to be discussed openly by rude, arrogant staff. We booked this table almost a week ago and it is well known people arrive early so one bar staff member serving was totally inadequate and to be given a limited time to eat is again, appalling customer service. Food may be good but not enough to compensate the crass manners today.
