Very enjoyable private tour with Betty!

点评：It is no surprise that Betty has a 5/5 rating on tripadvisor! We did a private tour with her, just my wife and I, and it gave us an opportunity to really, not only get to know Betty, but to also ask her a lot of questions about the region, culture, experiences, etc. Our private tour allowed us to talk to each other one on one and it made a huge difference in our experience. It is obvious that she cares greatly about the region and cares about her guests. She enjoys what she does and is incredibly knowledgeable about the Mayan ruins and the cenotes in the area but can also can offer more in depth tours if you like. We were picked up at 6 am at our hotel and were back just before 4 pm. A good bit of driving but well worth it and Betty made it interesting as we shared a great conversation. Getting up early and getting on the road also allowed us to beat the crowds at Chichen Itza. I would highly suggest that you ask her to take to you to some of the ruins that are a little more off the beaten path and less crowded. One added benefit of having Betty with us is that she was able to take some great pictures of us - something that is hard to do when there is just two of you. I simply cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed the day with Betty. We learned a lot but also had an easy, safe and fun filled day with her. We will be back with her next year when we are back in the Yuchatan.
