点评：We have eaten here before on many occasions, and have always been satisfied with the food and service and lovely, well kept venue. Our latest experience, sadly, was a real disappointment
We had Sunday Lunch.
We were shown to our table and given menus. No wine list offered, and we weren’t asked if we would like a drink. At our request a server brought the wine list and then immediately asked us if we would like a drink before we’d had chance to even look at the wine list.
We both ordered roast sirloin which was chewy and unpleasant to eat. It was accompanied by a pot of over-whipped cream tasting of very little. Again unpleasant, and listed on the menu as ‘horseradish cream’. The veg were fine.
We then ordered a cheese plate to share. The menu stated three cheeses, we only received two, which was pointed out to the server, whose response was “sorry about that”.
We asked for the bill which failed to materialise, so we went up to the till to pay.
The same server re the cheese plate asked if everything had been OK. We highlighted the issues with the beef, ‘horseradish cream’, and, for the second time, the missing cheese. Again, the response was “sorry about that”
The staff, whilst far from unpleasant, seem very inexperienced, and clearly don’t know how to handle a complaint or dissatisfaction. There was a distinct lack of anyone mature overseeing the team, which used to be the norm, and it all felt rather rudderless.
Has the place changed hands? Would we return? Not sure we’ll bother

员工虽然谈不上令人不快，但似乎经验不足，显然不知道如何处理投诉或不满。现在明显缺乏一个成熟的团队管理者，而这在过去是常态，感觉整个团队都缺乏方向感。
这家店易主了吗？我们会再来吗？不确定是否会再来。
