点评:I can't believe it's two years since I was last in here for a meal, so it was about time for a revisit. Finding ourselves in Stratford on a Saturday night this was the one place I and my colleagues had not tried recently - all the other eateries in the neighbourhood now becoming too familiar to us. As usual, service was brisk and polite. We were promptly seated, and the food arrived fairly quickly, except that there doesn't seem to be any concept of starters and mains here, with everything coming out at different times and not necessarily in the intended order.
Our starters were Borek (filo pastry rolls filled with cheese and spinach) and Cigeri (pan fried liver with onions) respectively, and our mains were Sarma Kuzu Beyti (marinated minced lamb wrapped in lavash bread with cheese, topped with tomato sauce and served with yoghurt) and Adana kebab (minced lamb skewered and grilled) with rice (see pictures). It was all very good, cooked to perfection and beautifully presented, although my colleague's starter of pan fried liver arrived after the main course had been served, and my main arrived before I'd finished my starter, so everything was kind of on the able at once. But that is a minor niggle. We managed to polish off most of it between us, accompanied by a rather palatable Efes Turkish lager.
With the bill coming in at under £65 for two, including drinks, that is very reasonable, and there is no cynical 'discretionary' service charge added in, which is always refreshing. Overall, a rather agreeable experience.

我们的开胃菜分别是 Borek(奶酪和菠菜馅的酥皮卷)和 Cigeri(洋葱煎肝),主菜是 Sarma Kuzu Beyti(用奶酪面包包裹的腌制碎羊肉,淋上番茄酱,配酸奶)和 Adana kebab(串烧和烤制的碎羊肉)配米饭(见图片)。
