Enjoyable holiday but not as good as some other parcs
Center Parcs Limburgse Peel的点评
点评：We stayed for 3 nights. We enjoyed our holiday and our 8 year old daughter loved it and was very sad to leave. The site is in a nice, peaceful woodland setting.
It is one of the older parcs and it shows, but then it was also the cheapest.
If you have been to the UK Center Parcs then you will need to lower your expectations. The swimming pool is smaller, older and less exciting than at Longleat. 1 flume, no rapids etc. Our 8 year old still loved it would have stayed in all day.
There are also fewer activities you can choose from. This was fine for us, but check what is available before you book. Do not assume it is the same as the UK Parcs.
Unfortunately the restaurants and cafes were not so good. I expected them to be expensive, which they were. But they were also not that good. The first night we are out, but all other meals were cooked in the cottage. The onsite shop was ok, but limited and we drove into the nearest town to visit a supermarket.
Bedding and towels were not included which we did not realize. We were clearly not the only people as when I went to reception, several people in front walked away with bedding. The charge for 3 sets of bedding/towels was an extortionate €52.
