点评:I have used this title as I ordered a takeaway to be delivered. I have been vegetarian for over 40 years and was disappointed that instead of the vegetarian meal I had ordered, a meat one was delivered. I found this out too late and had already dished it up onto my rice and other side dishes - I also took a mouthful before realising the mistake and felt physically sick. I rang the restaurant who, admittedly, offered to send me the correct curry but by this time I felt so ill I did not want to eat anything.
I requested a refund but was told that as I had paid online they would not/could not refund me!!! I was not impressed and said as much - to be told "sorry, it's human error - what do you want me to do? Mistakes happen!!!" Yes, mistakes do happen but the way you deal with them is key, however, as much as it upset and disgusted me to be given meat, at least I am not an allergy sufferer - this sort of "mistake" could have ended in horrific circumstances. Also they advertise as "vegetarian friendly" - certainly not the case which I experienced!! I am extremely disappointed with the customer service - I have used this restaurant many times and always enjoyed the food so to be dealt with so bluntly and indifferently was extremely poor and unprofessional. I do not understand why I could not get a refund. My whole meal was ruined. I think the staff definitely need to sign up to charm school!!
