点评:I normally enjoy staying at AC Hotels b/c the experience is consistent, straight forward, and worth the price. I was disappointed when I checked in at 10PM to find my room not furnished with ear swabs/cotton pads, a soap dish, nor the complimentary water bottles. I requested water via the app, and it took over an hour to be brought to my room.
The room also had significant wear and tear. The power outlets next to the bed were too worn to support any plugs. The outlets were too loose and plugs would fall out as soon as they were plugged in. The USB outlets next to the bed didn't work, and one of the USB outlets was completely gutted.
When I sat down on the edge of the bed, I immediately sunk to the bottom, which indicated broken mattress springs. Luckily the rest of the king bed was in-tact.
AC Hotels use Korres products. The hand soap, lotion, and conditioner in the room were in fact Korres, but the shampoo and body wash were not. The difference was obvious--the smell of Korres product is very distinct and white, and the shampoo and body wash were orange and smelled like peach. This made me distrustful of the property that they would mislabel bottles and put adulterated product advertised as something else. I was hoping it was just the bottles in my room.
The housekeeping was inconsistent and baffling. I returned at the end of the first day to see that the room was cleaned, bed made, and trash emptied, but the washcloth and hand soap that were provided the first night were not replaced. I then requested via the app a 1) dental kit 2) comb 3) shower cap 4) hand soap and 5) washcloth. But what was delivered to my room was a 6) hand towel 7) shampoo 8) conditioner and 9) body wash. None of what I requested. With the additional shampoo and body wash, I confirmed that the pink, peach product was also in the separate bottles.
Some pros were that they were able to keep me in the same room across my two reservations, and the high-floor room had good noise isolation. The property is directly next to the Plaza del Sol, so shopping and running errands was a very easy walk over.
I submitted the feedback directly to the property at the end of my stay, and the manager promptly responded apologizing for my experience and said they deposited goodwill Bonvoy points into my account. It's been seven days and the supposed points still haven't appeared in my account.
