Fun to stay here; friendly owner, likes to share the history of Wigwam Village. Be sure to read the info in your room about this as it is very interesting. As should be expected, the rooms are small but the bed is comfy. If you want to cook food, bring your own grill; the on-site ones are yet to be replaced. There is a microwave & refrigerator in the same building as the ice. The best thing about this village is the shared fire pit. Weather permitting, there is a fire every night & it's great to go down & meet new friends.

Staying at Wigwam Village was the highlight of our trip. We loved talking with Keith at the beginning of our stay and he was so great at making sure we got the full bonfire/hot dog experience! You will never regret staying at this incredible piece of Americana and will always remember the experience. Don't forget to read the history binder in your wigwam - it's fascinating and informative! I will return to the area, not for the caves or KY Down Under, but to stay at the Wigwam Village. Best ever!

We were looking for a place to stay on a trip from Alabama to Wisconsin with great grandchildren ages 3 and 5. This was a great spot with the unique Tepees and large old school play area There was a fire pit at night for roasting marshmallows and gathering with other guests. There is a Dollar General across the road for a quick trip for snacks and drinks. Little picnic tables/chairs near each Tepee we used for breakfast. The rooms had all the amenities needed.-bathroom, wifi, airconditioner. It was a fun stay

Unique, clean, and comfortable accommodations. We stayed in a double with our grandson and enjoyed the experience. Recommend watching UTube reviews to have a better idea of the actual dimensions inside the structure. Glad we visited, but this is a one time visit for us.

Very cool place and on our "bucket" list to do. When we got there, we were greeted by one of the owners that provided us the history of the Wigwam Village. At night, they light a bonfire and have benches there for people to get to know one another.

Cool and campy family fun! We had a wonderful night in a double bed wigwam. It was very cute and comfy. The owners are cool people and gave us the full history of the motel when checking in. We definitely felt like we experienced a slice of vintage Americana.

We loved staying in this classic bit of historic Americana. Our host, Keith, gave us a great welcome with the history of this site on the National Historic Register. Our cozy teepee was very clean, with original furniture, a great comfortable mattress and bedding, with everything being a throwback to a simpler time, along with great Wi-Fi and Xfinity TV thrown in. The evening campfire was the perfect touch, and the play area with vintage playground toys was great to see. Keith was also great to help with local recommendations for activities and dining.

This is a fun unique experience! The owner was very informative telling us about the history of this property and how they are bringing it back to life. The rooms are small, and some things are still a bit outdated- electrical especially. The fire pit meet and greet with the other guest was a wonderful experience of relaxation and visiting.

The new owners are very dedicated to the history of this unique hotel and to making sure their guests have a good experience. It's an interesting place to stay, but I don't think I would spend more than one night there. The rooms are very small. This is not a luxury hotel suite. Seems like a good place for kids, lots of playground equipment. The owner lights a bonfire in the middle of the common area at dusk, so be sure to settle in before then so you can enjoy it.
