I had high hopes for this steakhouse as relatives said that it was even better than my favorite in Norwalk. My companion's Filet Mignon was near perfect as were the appetizers and sides. I ordered a 32oz bone in ribeye and assumed that it would be a normal cut and not a "tomahawk" as those nouveau monstrosities were clearly identified on the menu and I am not a fan of paying for a pound of large bone. I came out as a tomahawk and I mentioned this but did not complain. The steak was neither rare as ordered or tender as expected for a $70 steak. What made me write this review is that about four hours I was quite ill with intestinal distress.
I took my boyfriend for his birthday and was not impressed. Our appetizers were wonderful but, the dinners were not. His salad had hardly any dressing on it, my filet mignon had no taste and the roasted mushrooms were soggy and also no taste. He had the sea bass and it also had no flavor. The dinners are expensive and the chef needs to use at least some salt and pepper.one a better note our server was excellent. I've had better steaks at Texas Roadhouse. We won't be back.
