Live local & heard farmhouse kitchen had just opened in the last week ! Me & my partner like to try different places twice a month for Sunday lunch in this price range Honestly 10/10 from both of us! The staff, surroundings & quality of food! We will be back bring family next time

We have just had a surprise wedding reception at Horsley Lodge. It was a wonderful occasion and made better but the wonderful organising of Laura. The food was lovely and the newly decorated room was beautiful. I would recommend this location and venue for any occasion.

Just celebrated my parents 50th wedding anniversary at Horsley Lodge and I have to say, it's been such a memorable occasion! Absolutely fantastic all round. The support I had from Laura and Jenny to co-ordinate the event was impeccable. They don't just work 9-5! I used Events Covered (Nichola) for the decorations and she was so helpful and the room looked stunning. The food was delicious (so many people commented on it and everyone scraped their plates clean!). The staff could not do enough to help on the night and the accommodation was homely, clean, comfortable and if I'm honest, I'd happily live in the Salt Suite! Thank you so much Horsley Lodge and Events Covered.

Went today for champagne breakfast for special birthday, expecting it to be similar to when we went last year. Sadly, disappointed. No special table setting to make it any different to any other breakfast being served. Table not really big enough to hold everything. Pastries to start, then choice of main breakfast. Expected toast to be served separately, but was on breakfast plate with egg on top. Had to ask for butter and marmalade. Lovely setting, but not what we expected.

Really good visit on a really busy Saturday night the restaurant was packed, staff were good very welcoming and attentive. The new restaurant was stunning with great views but the star of the show was the food. We had the antipasti, all stunning and very tasty, balsamic onion were incredible and we had the chateaubriand with some onion rings. My god the steak was cooked perfectly and I’ve never had onion rings like them. Our friends had goats cheese pizza and said it was awesome. I guess you have a new chef in charge with a new brigade and you can tell. Well done to all and we will be back to sample Sunday lunch. Thank you

Saw the new reatourant and thought it was nice, didn’t disappoint, staff were great, food was lovely, views were great. Recommend people try 👍 The pizzas 🍕 are tasty 😋 ..…………………………………………………………………………………………………….. will go back again ❤️

We held a Celebration of Life for our mother at Horsley Lodge. Laura, in charge of events, was exceedingly helpful in every aspec. The food was very good indeed, the bar was well stocked, there was plenty of tea and coffee and the space itself was perfect. Laura advised on personal touches, even going as far as arranging and displaying flowers for us. Good value for money too.

We came for a work do, was greeted by the amazing staff, so polite and looked very professional. Had a three course meal which was great. Lovely service from the staff, felt very welcome. Would be very happy to come again, definitely worth the money for the personalities alone.

Brilliant meal, great waiter’s, spent over £200 it was lovely , unfortunately, my daughter in law lost her phone there, I called to chase up if they had it, but a very unprofessional, unpleasant manager named Jenny, was assaulting in her manner, and then threatened my son !! Pressing chargers Monday after speaking to the NEW owners! She wants sacking , lovely evening ruined my a school girl who isn’t fit for purpose! Contact me to discuss
